摘要： 如何部分地增强图像反差是刑事技术工作中最常遇到的难题之一。借助数字图像处理技术,可以根据像素值差异从原始图像提取感兴趣部分信息。本文讨论了这种基于像素值差异进行指纹背景分离的方法,可为指纹识别提供便利。

Abstract: Enhancing contrast of the interested part of an image is a difficult task for criminalistic examiners. With the help of image processing technology, variations of RGB values in the original image can be turned into useful information, and based on the difference of pixel values, the background of fingerprints can be eliminated. This technique could be helpful for fingerprint identification.
