Abstract: In modern times, the knowledge of Western forensic psychiatry entered China with the translation of relevant forensic medicine works. The knowledge of forensic psychiatry was introduced in the Legal Medicine and the Chinese Translation of Practical Forensic Medicine, which were introduced into China at the end of the Qing Dynasty. With the training of new medical examiners in the late Qing Dynasty, the knowledge of forensic psychiatry in the Chinese Translation of Practical Forensic Medicine was initially spread in China. During the period of Republic of China, forensic psychiatry developed further, and a number of articles related to forensic psychiatry appeared. At the same time, under the influence of Lin Ji, two professional forensic psychiatric expert institutions, the Forensic Medicine Department of the Peking University Health Science Center and the Forensic Medical Institute of the Ministry of Judicial Administration, were formed, which promoted the practice of forensic psychiatry.

摘要： 近代以来西方法医精神病学知识随着相关法医学译著进入中国。在清末传入中国的《法律医学》《汉译实用法医学大全》等法医学著作中，都介绍了法医精神病学知识。随着清末对新式检验人才的培训，《汉译实用法医学大全》中的法医精神病学知识在中国初步传播。民国时期，法医精神病学进一步发展，出现了一批与法医精神病学有关的论文与著作。同时在林几的影响下，逐渐形成了国立北平大学医学院法医学教室与司法行政部法医研究所为代表的专业司法精神鉴定机构，促进了法医精神病学在中国的实践。
