A Study on Test Paper of Alcohol in Saliva DING Guo-xing;WANG Qun;JIANG Yong;SHI Qi;SONG Shu-qiang;ZHANG Kai (Tianjin Institute of Criminal Science Technology;Tianjin 00;China) 2005(04): 22-23+2.  Abstract ( )   A kind of fast test paper for examining alcohol content in saliva was developed successfully by Tianjin Institute of Criminal Science and Technology. The paper contains a special enzyme which con react with alcohol in saliva and make the paper change colors in accordance with alcohol concentration. However, it was found that the color development was not fully consistent with the corresponding alcohol content in saliva for some people. Our study showed that the pH value in saliva was the main cause. Details of the problem were discussed. Related Articles | Metrics
