Photocopy toners were collected and analyzed with Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography Spectrometry (Py-GC). Minor differences in composition of photocopy toners of different factories and different brands of the same factories were detected. In the study, an improved Munson's sampling method was employed and effects of paper fiber were eliminated. Results of the method were stable and repeatable, and the discriminating rate readied 90.3%.

Objective To seek a new way of estimating postmortem interval (PMI). Methods Comparing obscurity was used to measure the two enzymes' activity of HBDH and LDH in vitreous humor of rabbits under different ambient temperatures (25-30℃;10-15℃) in the course of 0-54 hours after death. Results There was a different plateau period for the two enzymes' activity after a short period of death and the activity decreased quickly after the plateau period, reaching zero after 54 hours of death in low temperature groups and 48 hours in high ones. There existed high negative correlativity between the two enzymes' activity and PMI at a given range (P<0.05). Conclusion PMl can be roughly estimated by using simple regression equation and accurately estimated by using multiple regression equation.
