Research on the Interference of Nylon Fiber on Paint Evidence in Traffic Accident Cases

交通肇事案件中尼龙纤维对油漆物证检验的干扰问题研究

Abstract: Objective In traffic accident cases involving collisions between people and vehicles, paint evidence is attached to clothing fibers due to collision contact. Due to the instantaneous high temperature of the impact, some synthetic fibers will melt into the paint evidence, which will interfere in the comparison and inspection of the components of the paint attached to the clothing and the paint on the vehicle. Methods This article reports a case of a pedestrian vehicle collision traffic accident in which fibers melted into paint evidence and could not be physically separated. The interfering fibers were separated by using chemical reagent cleaning method. Results The paint attached to the clothing was suceessfully compared with the vehicle paint. Conclusion The chemical reagent cleaning method can effectively separate interfering fibers. Finally, a summary and discussion were conducted on the processing methods of paint evidence attached to clothing fibers to promote their application in investigation and case handling practices.

摘要:  目的 在人车相撞交通肇事案件中,油漆物证由于碰撞接触而附着于服装纤维上,由于撞击的瞬间高温,部分合成纤维会熔融进入油漆物证中,从而对服装上附着油漆与车辆上油漆的成分比对检验造成干扰。方法 通过报道一例尼龙纤维熔融入油漆物证且无法进行物理分离的人车相撞交通肇事案件,采用化学试剂清洗的方法去除了尼龙纤维干扰。结果 最终将服装上附着油漆与车辆油漆进行了成功比对。结论 化学试剂清洗方法可有效分离尼龙纤维,以此案例为基础对服装纤维上附着油漆物证的处理方法进行了总结与讨论,以促进其在侦查办案实践中的应用。
