    Abstract ( )
Objective To develop a management software specified for parentage testing in small laboratories. Methods Selecting the Microsoft VBA as the program language, integrating with Microsoft Word and Excel, a management software was developed using macro function. The software contained at least three modules--data inputting and maintaining; parentage index and relative parentage possibility calculating; report forming and printing. The system was flexible, reliable, capable to network usage and easy to use and maintain. Results The software "Easy Parentage Test" has been employed for information management, report forming and printing of parentage cases. It can satisfy the needs of regular work of parentage test, increase efficiency and ensure the work quality. Conclusion The software "Easy Parentage Test" is suitable for the management of parentage test in small laboratories.

    Abstract ( )
Objective To explore the relationship between road traffic accidents and blood alcohol concentration (BAC) in drivers after drinking alcohol. Methods 2005 cases of road traffic accidents caused by drinking driving were analyzed statistically. Results Most accidents makers were male drivers, but the rate of drunk driving was similar between male and female drivers. The death rate of accidents for BAC<20mg/100mL was higher than for BAC20~79mg/mL, nevertheless the death rate for BAC>80mg/100mL was lower than for BAC20~79mg/mL. Conclusion The BAC criteria for drinking driving and drunk driving should be reduced.
