Objective To analyse risk factors associated with obstetricbrachial plexus injury and relationship between obstetric injury permanentbrachial plexus palsy and medicinal manage. Methods We performed aretrospective 15 case analysis from permanent brachial plexus palsy inforensic identification. Results Risk factors for permanent brachial injurywere fetal macrosomia, improper use of oxytocin, instrumental vaginaldelivery and shoulder dystocia. Conclusions Cause of obstetric brachialplexus palsy is multifactor. To date, no specific pattern of perinatal eventsappears to be reliably predictive for this injury. Different factors should betaken into account in forensic identifying causation of medical procedureswith brachial plexus injury and the degree involved medicine .

Solid phase microextraction (SPME) is a techniquethat integrates sampling, extraction, concentration and sample in-troduction into a single step. SPME has been developed in recentyears, which will has a good development in forensic analysis. SPMEis often faster than traditional techniques; can be readily automated;allows for multiple sampling, preservation of the sample, eliminationof solvents, and minimization of the risk of sample contamination bythe reason of the simplicity of the technique. SPME can be applied tospot analysis. The SPME comprehensive applications covered inforensic analysis include ignitable liquid residues (also referred to asaccelerants), explosive traces, drugs and poisons from biologicalspecimens and other forensic applications. This review summarizesthe technique(SPME), and its applications and development inforensic analysis.
