    Difference between Identification for Liquefied Pe-troleum Gas Poisoning and for Coal Gas Poisoning

    Abstract ( )  
    Objective To study the difference betweenidentification for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) poisoning andfor coal gas poisoning. Methods The percent carboxyhemo-globin saturation(HbCO%) and propane in blood of miceand rabbits were determined respectively after they were poi-soned by LPG and coal gas. Results The HbCO% in thepoisoned rabbits by coal gas was 49.95%, and the HbCO% inthe poisoned death mice > 60%; The propane was qualitativein the poisoned rabbits and mice by LPG, and the HbCO%was the same in the natural rabbits and mice. ConclusionCoal gas poisoning can be identified by determining theHbCO%, and LPG poisoning can be identified by determiningthe propane.

    Abstract ( )  
    A simple method for the determination of Combustionimprovers, such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil, has been developedby GC/MS, along with extracting and heating devices designed by theauthor. It was found that extracting temperature and moment in SPMEinfluenced the sensitivity of the analysis. In the study, the optimal analyzingconditions were established, and under the condition, the detection limitsfor gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil were 0.65pl/ml, 1.63pl/ml and 1.63pl/ml respectively.

    In handwriting comparison, characteristic of penmovement is not easy to handle. Besides the exterior appearance,like start touch, moving line and end stroke, there exists intrinsicpen pressure change during writing, and it can be referred asrhythm characteristic. The rhythm characteristic is of highly in-dividuality and relatively stable, as it is formed during repeatingpractice of writing just as other characteristics. In imitation, imi-tators can easily reach likeness of the original in external appearance,but can hardly resemble the rhythm characteristic.
