The Origin Differentiation of Seized Heroin Us-ing GC-C-IRMS II--Study on the ~(13)C Isotope RatioMass Spectrometry of Seized Heroin WANG Conghui;SUN Wei;ZHANG Daming;TIANYuhang;FANG Jiajun;WANG Jingzhu;WUMountian;ZHU Shaotang (. Institute of Fo-rensic Science;Ministry of Public Security)[ 2003(4): 19-22.  Abstract ( )   The origin of seized heroin was dif-ferentiated using gas chromatography-combustion-isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC-C-IRMS).Considering the contribution of acetyl toδ13C ofheroin, purified heroin should be hydrolyzed tonative morphine correspondingly. According to themeasured δ13C value of heroin and morphine, theseized heroin was classified and differentiated,and the difference of δ13C between heroin andmorphine was concerned in the batch informationof the synthetic process. As a result of its strong sedative andamnesiac effects, GHB has been implicated in a number of DFSAcases. The natural presence of GHB in the human body and itsrapid elimination after ingestion make it difficult to detect and toevaluate its roles in suspected GHB-facilitated assaults. Analysis of 191 Cases of Forensic PsychiatricExamination Involving Crimes of Violence AOYANG Jun-lin (Quanzhou No. Hospital;Quanzhou;000) 2003(4): 30-32.  Abstract ( )   Objective to study the relationship between typesof violence crimes and different mental disorders. Method 191cases involving crimes of violence from 1997 to 2002 wereanalyzed. Result most violence of mental patients ended up withhomicide or body injury. They, when committing Crimes, lackedof prediction, identification, planning and self-protection, andtended to choose relatives and acquaintances as targets.
