    HLA-DRB1 and ABO Genotyping Using DNA Chip Technology

    Abstract ( )  
    Objective To establish a new method performed on an oligoneucleotide array for genotyping HLA DRB1 and ABO. Methods According, to the sequence of HLA-DRBI and ABO,HLA-DRB1-ABO genotyping chips were made,then the labeled PCR products were hybridized with them, The signals were scanned by the scanner 4000 and analyzed by the Imagene software. In theliexperiment, 111 samples were genotyped and some of samples sequenced. Results The HLA-DRB1-ABO genotyping chips we made are accurate and sensitive. Compared with PCR-SSP and PCR-SSO methods, the genotyping chip method is more explicit and has the advantage of integration. It can be applied not only in the paternity test and individual identification but also in tissue matching and gentics research.

    Abstract ( )  
    Objective To study the relation between the visual evoked potential(VEP)and subjective vision. Methods 253 eyes were divided into two groups,one was the experiment group,and the other was the control group consisting of differednt kinds of patients.The VEP with optimal stimuli and threshold stimuli were recorded,then the relational universal test chart was analyzed statistically.Results significant correlation exists between the visual angel and real vision both in the control group and in the experiment group. Conclusions The VEP can be used to evaluate the behavior vision.

    Study on the Specificity of Fibrinogen for the Postmortem Diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction

    In order to explore the specificity of fibrinogen(Fg)in the postmortem diagnosis of myocardial infarction,the changes of Fg staining in normal, infarcted and non-infarcted myocardia with direct of indirect myo-cardial injuries(myocarditis,mechanical asphyxia,electrocution,hemorrhagic shock,cardiac contusion and organophosphate poisoning,etc.)were studied with immunohistochemistry and an image andalysis system.The results showed that Fg was negative in the normal myocardia,while positive in the infarcted as well as in the non-infacted with myocardial injuries.The positive staining areas were significantly different from that of the normal control group.lt is concluded that positive reaction of Fg could be easily affected by myocarditis,mechanical asphyxia,electrocution,hemorrhagic shock,cardiaccontusion,and organophosphate poisoning so it is not specific for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
