The Forensic Medical Application of Fibronectin Extra Domain Variant LIU Ning-guo;CHEN Yi-jiu;HUANG Xiao-hua (The Institute of Forensic Sciences;Ministry of Justice) 2002(01): 26-29.  Abstract ( )   Fibronectin extra domain variants are homologous structures present in fetal tissues. With development and aging, they turn to undetectable lever as mRNA alternative splicing. However, recently research showed that they recover to abundant expression during wound healing, diseases and tum-origenesis. Forensic entomology has peerless advantage in determining postmortem intervals of the death, especially of decayed corpses. Lie-Detecting Technique and its Application in the Domestic Judicial Practice ZENG Ze-min (Xiamen People's Procuratorate) 2002(01): 37-39.  Abstract ( )   The invention and application of lie detectors are a great breakthrough in the history of criminal investigation. Lie-detecting techniques have been widely applied to many fields such as national defence, judicial investigation and even commerce activities in more than fifty nations of the world. Practice proves that lie-detecting techniques are scientific and reliable and can be used to distinguish between guilty and not guilty. In recent years, the technique has been rapidly and widely adopted by domestic judicial institutions of police, courts, procuratorates and etc., achieving notable scores in providing important evidence in difficult cases as an effective supplementary means of criminal investigation. The concept and principle of lie-detecting techniques are introduced and its application in the domestic judicial practice is discussed. Related Articles | Metrics

My Opinions on the Evaluating Standard of Body Injury Degree YAO Sui-biao (The People's Court of Fuan County) 2002(01): 40-41+5.  Abstract ( )   Classification of body injuries is a frequent request in forensic medical examination. For a long time, there exist disorders about the classification standards, causing repeated examinations for a case and confusions among examinees. In court system, except the "traffic standard" for injuries of traffic accidents, other injuries are classified by the "work standard". According to our practice, we find that the "work standard" has many shortcomings.
