    Study On the Elimination Rate of Blood Alcohol and Estimation of Blood Alcohol Concentration

    Abstract ( )  
    Objective To study the elimination rate of bloodalcohol and estimation of blood alcohol concentration in human.Method Blood alcohol concentration curves were plotted for 95human subjects after they drank various doses of alcoholicbeverage. Result The elimination of blood alcohol conformedwith the mode of linear elimination, with correlated coefficient(r) of -0.989±0.011. The elimination rate of blood alcohol was-0.140 mg·ml-1·h-1±0.028. Conclusion The blood alcoholconcentration can be estimated according to the elimination rateof blood alcohol [-0.10 mg·ml-1·h-1].[

    Objective Mitochondrial DNA sequencecomparison was performed using shareware Chromas,SeqVerter, Clustal X and GeneDoc. Method mtDNA sequencesof biological samples were automatically analyzed by the ABIPrism Sequencing Analysis Software (V.2.1). All thechromatogram files were opened using Chromas and mergedwith Anderson's reference sequence (.txt) into one multiplesequence file (.txt) using SeqVerter. After inputting the sequences(.aln) and selecting DO COMPLTET ALIGNMENT option inClustal X, The alignment was displayed. The result could thenbe saved as output formats GCG/MSF and printed usingGeneDoc. Conclusion The shareware (Chromas, SeqVerter,Clustal X and GeneDoc) provided an integrated environmentfor multiple sequence alignments and was suitable for mtDNAanalysis in forensic identification.[

    Authorship identification of printed documents, thatis to determine the author from printed documents, is a new taskneeding to address in questioned document examination. Anexamination case of authorship was introduced, in which theexterior language features and interior conscious contents of theprinted document were analyzed. It is believed that, under certainconditions and guided by contemporary language science theories,the author of printed documents could be identified by languagecharacter analysis.[
