On the Improvement of Expert Auxiliary Person System in Criminal Procedure of China 2013(2): 1-5.  Abstract ( )   Expert auxiliary person System is first established in the new criminal procedure of China. Because some provisions on many issues are not elaborate, there may cause a lot of difficulties in practice. Therefore, it is necessary to draw on the useful experience of “technical advisor" system in Italian criminal procedure and "expert" system of Russian Criminal procedure to optimize expert auxiliary system of China. It should make the decision about the litigation position and responsibilities of expert auxiliary person clearly in the future criminal procedure, establishing their litigation rights by expert auxiliary person and their related commitments. In addition, it should take expert auxiliary advice as legal evidence clearly, and entitle the accused the right of hiring expert auxiliary person in pretrial stage. Related Articles | Metrics

Judicial authority can only prefect the pretrial open proceedings of the Criminal Expert Opinion by initiating, expanding the range of verified written opinion and setting standard ways of how to proceed and so on. The Present Situation and Reform about the System on Criminal Repeat Identification in China 2013(2): 15-21.  Abstract ( )   Abstract: Some problems appear in practice in Chinese criminal repeat identification system, and no substantive change because of related legal reforms. At present, repeat identifications of criminal cases are mainly concentrated in the identification of death cause, or identification for degree of injury; and it prone to the investigation or preliminary stages of identification. Proper repeat identification can contribute to the realization of the party’s right, to find the fact of cases. However, excessive repetitive identification decreases the system reputation on criminal identification, to subvert the function to settle disputes, give the party too much pressure. The Structure for Writing Ability 2013(2): 29-30.  Abstract ( )   Objective To propose a new hypothesis on writing ability structure, that is, it based on basic factors. Method According to the new hypothesis, strokes sequences of different characters may be in association relationship. The research selects character component dog and character mountain as the target characters, and collected 799 valid handwriting samples. Next, the research tests the strokes sequences of two target characters in female and male samples respectively, so to determine whether they are in association relationship. Result The statistics test shows that the strokes sequences of two target chracters are in association relationship (p<0.01). Conditional likelyhood ratio is used to measure the association relationship. The highest cnditional likelyhood ratio is 3.65. Conclusion The research confirms the hypothsis that some basic factors constitute the writing ability. The hypothesis can be used as the theoretical basis of handwriting comparison. Determination of Opium Alkaloids by HPLC with Ultrasound-Assisted Solid-Phase Extraction 2013(2): 31-34.  Abstract ( )   Objective A novel method for the determination of morphine, codeine, thebaine, papaverine and noscapine together with 6 unknown compounds in seized opium samples by HPLC with ultrasound-assisted solid-phase extraction was established. The principal components analysis (PCA) was used to classify different source opium samples. Methods Ultrasound assisted solid-phase extraction was used to extract alkaloids, and a XDB-C18 column（5 μm×4.6 mm×250 mm）with binary gradients containing 10 mM sodium heptane-1-sulphonate (pH = 3.2) / acetonitrile mixtures was investigated for the analysis. Results LOQ of different alkaloids ranged from 0.58-2.78 mg/ L and recoveries at 0.1-1.5 mg/ mL ranged from 81%-99.2%. RSD% was 1.7%-5.0%. Conclusion This established method can be applied for determining the alkaloids and classifying different source opium samples for its high reproducibility and accuracy. Related Articles | Metrics

Revealing the Latent Fingerprint on the Surface of RMB by LED Multi-Band Light Source 2013(2): 59-61.  Abstract ( )   Objective Study on the technology of revealing the latent fingerprint on the surface of RMB by LED multi-band light source. Methods Using the fluorescent reagent of Rhodamine 6G to dyeing processing the latent fingerprint on the surface of RMB; Using the green light which wavelength at 520 nm output by the LED multi-band light source irradiated the samples, Observe and photograph latent fingerprints image through the 580 nm band-pass filter. Results A luminous image of latent fingerprint with bright ridges and dark background were obtained. Studies on Using Simi Motion Capture System in Gait Recognition 2013(2): 66-70.  Abstract ( )   Summary: Objective: explore the new extraction recognition methods and the quantification analysis technology of major gait feature parameter of human walking. Method: Base on the gait analysis techniques with the traditional theory and methods of footprint detection, to recognize and analyze the gait parameters of 100 healthy men using the advanced Simi motion capture system. Results: It presents a gait feature extraction method which is based on artis, also reaching the basic parameters of gait features of walking, to analyze space and mechanics data, and provide technical support for the gait feature quantitative inspection. Conclusion: The research shows that Simi motion capture system can acquire more accurate data of gait feature, can meet the needs of gait analysis, and can attain the purpose of person individual identification will be having a wide application prospect in public security domain. The determination of the temperature in the fire disaster, the techniques of member damage identification, the strength of component reduction as well as connectivity performance of node changes is the main content of the steel security identification after fire .Several projects were applied in this article in order to discuss the steel structure damage identifies and the safety assessment after fire disaster, which can be offered to related personnel as a reference.
